When Time Passes

'I thought I was going to open my eyes to you, here.. But not this way'

The sad music that played in the background as we all walked to the lined up white chairs at the grave yard lawn. The cold winter wind that blew, numbed my body, almost frozen. The dark clouds above me threatened its heavy showers upon me. I turned to look at my friend, Kana, and her Husband who guided me to a chair up front. A minister, followed by 4 men carrying Rin's coffin up to the podium where it was to be set, and rested forever. I stared at the hole in the ground blankly, not moving an inch. My warm tears fell down my cheeks. I couldn't help but think of all the things he said to me before he died. Before we had a chance to do anything.

"I thank you all for coming this afternoon...."

The minister began his prayers, and the goodbyes for Rin. I just sat and cried. My heartbeats, sped up to what seemed like 1 million miles an hour. Thoughts of him flooded into my mind and ever flowed into my soul. It scorched my inner being to ash. Tore my mind, and shattered me, To a point where... I just couldn't take it anymore.
